    Hey guys,
I’ve found another small cafe that’s within walking distance from Jing An temple. It has free wifi and 2 tables for sitting around. Another plus for me is that it serves organic snacks.. some really nice sorbet in the Shanghai summer.

I’ve been to over a dozen Starbuck’s in Shanghai and have never paid one rmb to use their wireless service. A few times I have had to get a special code from the barista for customers and sometimes they don’t even change this code daily so I have come back the next day with no problem – free internet all day (as long as I am drinking a 40rmb latte or eating a 60rmb snack).

  5. Jenny says:

Krispy Kreme is a good place for free wi-fi. They also give you a free donut to taste.

  6. Colorado Guy says:

Walking down West Nanjing Road, I recently stumbled upon a small and QUIET coffee shop with internet, called Charlie’s Coffee & Tea

Their Italian Lavazza coffee was very delightful and the friendly (English speaking) staff made my stay even more enjoyable. I was really suprised to find such a quiet hide-out just off busy Nanjing Road.

I suggest you do not go there so that I can have it for myself, however I am sure they would appreciate your business.

If you want to check it out walk down West Nanjing Road between Changde Road and Tongren Road, in a side street by Union Plaza. I have added a google map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=31.225683,121.449442&daddr=&geocode=&hl=en&mra=mi&mrsp=0&sz=18&sll=31.225716,121.449448&sspn=0.002642,0.006014&ie=UTF8&z=18

  7. I am currently at Mr. Pancake (875 Wuding Lu) on the same block as Munchies. Internet is working fantastically for me. I was heading to Munchies but their kitchen is closed today.

  9. Genuinely when someone doesn’t understand then its up to other users that they will assist, so here it happens.
