@Kai: I don't think most of the "migrant workers" want to be freelancers at the first place.

@David: agree that China has fewer freelancers in terms of % of total population. Reason: 1. payment system: how to protect both parties interests? Trust is the most important element in the process, either online or offline. 2. Quality insurance: how to ensure "what you get is what you pay for"?</description>
