A man from Nanjing’s Pukou district has a fetish with high-heeled shoes. He doesn’t wear them, but he likes it when women wear them. As a result, his 170 cm girlfriend has an important assignment: when they are together she must wear high heels. But his girlfriend unfortunately doesn’t like to wear high heels. Yesterday night, this brought her boyfriend to blows.

Yesterday before dawn, the Nanjing Police received a call from a woman who stated that her boyfriend had just beaten her up. The police rushed to 1 Puzhu Road where they discovered an approximately 30-year-old woman. This woman explained that she was 30 and her boyfriend was 27 and they had known each other for over a year. Her boyfriend had a bad problem with liking women to wear high heels. He required she wear them in his presence. But she didn’t like to wear high heels because they hurt her feet. She told her boyfriend, “You’re 173 cm tall and I’m 170 cm tall. If I wear heels aren’t I taller then you?” But the boyfriend didn’t care, he definitely wanted her to wear heels. Yesterday night after 11pm, the pair went out for a late-night snack and the man discovered his girlfriend had not worn high heels. He consequently cursed at her and said that she wasn’t giving him face. She argued back at him and he then started hitting her. Finally, she called the police to pick up her boyfriend. While the police attempted to mediate the situation, he agreed to break up with the woman.
